DJ Houseplants’ latest release is an up-tempo house banger released through Houz. The combination of opening hi hats and a bouncy bassline turns ‘Never Be Sorry’ straight into a track perfect for the modern club floor, while the wind arrangements bring summery melodies with a retro feel that wouldn’t be out of place in an 80s venue. Breaking up the track is a short section of spoken word which shows off DJ Houseplants' production skill, bringing everything down through filters that explode back out into the beat and a glorious saxophone solo. -Dan Peeke
